One of the Jonas Brothers Gets Engaged

The eldest Jonas brother, Kevin, 22, popped the question to his girlfriend of two years, Danielle Deleasa, 21. Both of them have confirmed the news and so have his parents, Paul Kevin Jonas, Sr. and Denise.

According to People, which was the first to report the news, Kevin surprised his girlfriend by showing up at her doorstep in New Jersey on Wednesday morning, July 1, soon after arriving in the city on an overnight flight from a concert in Vancouver. He dropped down to his knee and presented her with a cushion-cut diamond ring that he designed with Jacob & Co.

]]> "It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world," admitted Kevin, adding that Danielle "said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row" after he popped the question.

Kevin first met Danielle, who is a former hairdresser, in May 2007 while they were vacationing in the Bahamas with their families. "I didn't know who the Jonas Brothers were," admits Danielle recalling the day she first met Kevin.

The two haven’t set a wedding date yet. In a statement, Kevin's parents said they were "filled with joy."

Hilary Duff to Star on 'Gossip Girl'

It's official: singer/actress Hilary Duff will join the cast of Gossip Girl for a multi-episode guest arc - as a new roommate for one of the favorite characters and a love interest for another!

Private and Public Funerals Have Been Set for the King of Pop

Michael Jackson's fans will get one last chance to say goodbye to the pop superstar. His body will be driven to his Neverland Valley Ranch in central California as early as Thursday, according to media reports.

Both private and public services will be held in honor of the King of Pop. The public memorial will be held at Neverland Ranch on Friday, July 3, and the private one is slated for Sunday, CNN reports. A motorcade of as many as 30 cars is expected to accompany Jackson's body to his ranch, which is located near the town of Los Olivos, north of Santa Barbara.

"I believe that his body will lie in state in Gary, Ind.," Gary Mayor Rudy Clay told Chicago radio station WGN Tuesday. "Now, it may not happen, but I believe it will."

Jude Law Will Play Hamlet on Broadway This Fall

Jude Law is heading to Broadway! According to The New York Times, the actor, who's currently starring in a Donmar Warehouse production of Shakespeare's Hamlet, will bring the show to Broadway in September. His Hamlet will play a 12-week run at the Broadhurst Theater, with previews beginning Sept. 12, says the paper.

"[He] joins the modern pantheon of spellbinding sweet princes with a performance of rare vulnerability and emotional openness," Charles Spencer wrote in the Telegraph. Evan Rachel Wood and Alan Cumming to Star in 'Spider-Man' Musical

Whatever Works star Evan Rachel Wood and actor Alan Cumming have officially been cast in the upcoming Broadway musical Spider-Man Turn: Off the Dark. The production, which features music by Bono and The Edge and will be directed by Tony-winner Julie Taymor (The Lion King), is set to begin previews Feb. 25, 2010, at the Hilton Theatre. Both actors have worked previously with Taymor on film (Wood in Across the Universe and Cumming in Titus and the forthcoming The Tempest).

But it seems like Daniel Craig is apparently looking for a break from his action-hero "Bond" persona. The 41-year-old actor is reportedly in talks to star in the psychological thriller Dream House, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

]]> In the film, penned by David Loucka and set to be directed by Irish filmmaker Jim Sheridan, Craig would play a man who moves his family to an idyllic small town, only to discover their house is haunted by its former inhabitants, who were murdered there.

No further information about the movie, including other cast members or filming dates, have been released.

In addition to Dream House, Craig is also set to do a stint on New York's Broadway, starring in drama A Steady Rain opposite Hugh Jackman.

Shia LaBeouf Talks about 'Transformers 3'
