Jennifer Esposito Having a Blast Playing a Lush

Gorgeous Jennifer Esposito, who plays the party lush on the hit TV show "Samantha Who?," says she can relate to the character's wild ways, even though she doesn't mirror Andrea in real life.

"I have a blast playing her," Esposito told the Daily News. "She just says what's on her mind, and it's so fun to be just that completely uninhibited in life. She just lives every day like it's all a party."

Chace Crawford Won't Play Teen Hunk Again After Gossip Girls

chace 'Gossip Girl' heartthrob Chace Crawford says he's terrified of being typecast and doesn't want to be thought of as just a hunk. His alter-ego on the show, Nate Archibald, relies on his good looks and money to get by, but Chase wants to be taken seriously as an actor.

He tells Vman magazine, "There are a lot of adverse effects of being a certain type, which I am. I wouldn't be in the business if I didn't feel I had what it takes to have longevity. Everyone has a certain castability, or quality, they're always going to have to fight."

Palin Explodes SNL Ratings. You Betcha!

The most telling thing about Gov. Sarah Palin's brief stint on 'Saturday Night Live' was that Tina Fey was smart enough NOT to stand next to the hottie politician who is way prettier than Tina - a fact duly noted by Alec Baldwin.

SNL, which has been a craptastic mess for years, has seen strong ratings the past few weeks with Tina-as-Sarah skits, but it's ratings were the highest they've been in 15 years when they got the real thing to come on the show. Palin's brief, hardly there visit drew in a late night audience of more than 17 million views, the biggest night the show has had since March, 1994.

Housewives Star Gale Harold is Critical After Bike Crash

Desperate Housewives actor Gale Harold is reportedly hospitalized in "critical but stable condition" following a motorcycle accident. He publicist initially only confirmed that the actor, who plays the boyfriend of Teri Hatcher's character, had fractured one of his shoulders.

It was Housewives creator Marc Cherry though, who confirmed later that Harold has swelling on the brain. Cherry stated that the actor is expected to recover fully after "a couple of weeks."

Even being paid $75,000 an episode isn't enough to keep Lauren Conrad interested in doing MTV's 'The Hills' for much long. She explains to Extra: "It's coming to a point where I love this show so much, but I'm ready to kind of walk away. I've been doing it for five years now. Five years on TV is a really, really long time."

Because five years at the same job is like, really, really long for a 22-year-old. After all, she's doing a scripted TV gig where all you do is air kiss and make up with Heidi (or not) and ramble on vacuously about fashion!

Simon Cowell Makes $22,000 per Minute. How are you Doing?

You'd guess that Simon Cowell makes a ton of money off of "American Idol" and rightly so - it's his baby. He's the judge and producer and final say of what happens on the hit show. But can you imagine making $36 million (GBP11.9 million) a year for watching someone else give their all on live TV?

It sounds like his fellow judges think that's way out of whack - consider they are taking home much smaller paychecks.

fey and palin 30 Rock star Tina Fey has been spoofing Alaska Governor and Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live for a couple of weeks now but she says she'll put an end to it should McCain/Palin win the election in November.

Fey tells TV Guide: “Election time is always good for [SNL] and this is a bonkers election. And that lady is a media star. She is a fascinating person, she’s very likeable. She’s fun to play, and the two bits with Amy Poehler (as Hillary Clinton), that was super fun.”

Matt Roloff Takes Little People Show to Big World in Iraq

roloff Matt Roloff of TLC's "Little People, Big World," took a recent trip to Iraq to film a special episode about a family that has three children with dwarfism. Roloff learned about the Iraqi family from a pal in the military who has a child who is a little person. The TV star took a doctor with him to help with an issue the family had.

"It was life-changing," Roloff said of the trip. "Unbelievably, life-changing. I've always been a proud American. I went over being very much disconnected from the whole conflict. It's way different from the way the media is always portraying it. It was a very, very eye-opening experience. Very rewarding."

Helio Castroneves Needs to 'Splain His Tax Returns to IRS

Race car driver and 'Dancing With the Stars' contestant Helio Castroneves must appear in a Miami courtroom today to face federal charges of tax evasion and conspiracy. According to reports, his sister and business manager, Katiucia, and his attorney, Alan Miller, were also indicted.

If the Brazilian driving champ can't Tango his way out of this tight corner, he could face some serious prison time if convicted. And hand over a lot of money to the US government.

Kim Kardashian Inconsolable After Dancing With Stars Loss

In a shocker even for Dancing With the Stars, Kim Kardashian became the third celebrity contestant to be booted off the show.

Even though Cloris Leachman received the lowest score of the night, she's this season's Jerry Springer, a fan favorite in this popularity contest, so expect Cloris to be around awhile longer. But the star of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" wasn't expected to exit so soon.
