Prison Break Given the Death Sentence by the Network

Offering the obvious reason that "The show is played out," Fox has announced that ‘Prison Break’ has been cancelled. The Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell show began to go downhill at the end of its second season, and ratings have not been good for the escape drama that was a huge hit when it debuted in 2005.
Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly has decided that the show has gone ridiculous: "The show just played out. I think you get to the point where creatively everyone feels enough stories were told."
