OMG. Soon you can have the line up of Napolean Dynamite action figures sitting on your desk. There's news that the cult classic will spawn a "sweet" line of action figures based on characters from film. How cool is that?
You read that right. Now you can own the Generation X anti-hero Napolean Dynamite (dressed in moon boots we hope), his "Vote for Pedro" Sanchez, wierd scheming Uncle Ricco, and geeky chatroom older bro Kip.
The action figures should be out this fall of 2005.

It's the size of a packet of chewing gum, but it's an iPod. How do they do it?
Apple on Monday introduced its fourth generation iPod, revised with a new interface similar to that found on the iPod mini and a new feature called Shuffle Songs. The new iPod Shuffle also sports a battery-life that's good to go for up to 12 hours of use at a time. The new player weighs less than three-quarters of an ounce and holds up to 240 songs. I'm impressed.
(Visit the site and scroll down to the bottom of the page where it say "Do Not Eat iPod Shuffle." They come back and tell me who the hell is eating these things?)

Get an iPod as a gift recently? Then you might want to check out this line of unique artist designs for decorative cases. PodSkinz are made of scratch resistant plastic, quite thin, and formed to the shape of the iPod. They are far superior to a sticker, wrap or "Tattoo". Check out the PodSkinz at www.macskinz.com

At 12 millimeters wide by 4.5 millimeters high, this Lexar flash drive is uber tiny. You really can't get much smaller than this -- these drives are no larger than the ports that they connect to. Lexar hasn't revealed when the flash drive will be available to the public . . .

PlayStation's first contribution to the handheld market is striking fear into its competitors. The PSP comes equipped with Sony's new Universal Media Disc, which can store up to 1.8G of both game and video data. The PSP is a great portable, and the USB and wireless LAN connections make it perfect for online gaming.
The PSP is already available in Japan, and of course, on eBay. It will be officially released in North America in this spring.

the new concept Oakley Thumb MP3 Sunglasses.
A USB connection lets you transfer music to these sunglasses, where built-in earbud headphones let you listen to in. A cool concept, but I'm thinking they look kind of clunky, but they wouldn't be so bad under a hat or helmet. But I have to ask, will they still work after they come flying off your face when you smack a landing on your board?
At $395 for the 128 MB version, and $495 for the 256 MB version, they ain't cheap.
