Selling millions of albums, achieving success as one of the greatest Motown musical groups of all time, and even being a sibling to the King of Pop himself, hasn't spared the brothers of the Jackson 5 from plunging to the depths of near poverty.

According to a story in the New York Post, "...one brother is stocking groceries, another repairing cars and others living at home with mom while hoping for sister Janet's next handout."

Michael Jackson Nearly Loses The Encino House Too

Troubled pop star Michael Jackson is close to losing his fabled Neverland Ranch this month because he failed to make mortgage payments on it, and now it's been revealed his parents' and siblings' Encino home is also in jeopardy.

According to gossip columnist Janet Charlton, "the family compound has narrowly avoided foreclosure several times before," and mortgage payments were made "at the LAST minute" this time as well.

Michael Jackson Needs $25 Mil to Keep Neverland

The sprawling 2,800-acre compound known as Neverland, which represented the world of Michael Jackson during his Peter Pan fantasy year, is due to hit the auction block on March 19. The grounds include zoo cages, a miniature steam train and a ferris wheel. Jackson wants it back but no one will give him the $25 million he needs to pay off loans made against the property.

If you've seen photos on the Innertubes of Michael Jackson's odd face this past week and thought nothing of it - more plastic surgery perhaps? - it turns out Jacko may have had repairs done on his "bursting lips."

The 49-year-old singer was reportedly forced to have emergency surgery after his five-year-old son accidentally smacked him in the face, causing bursting and collapsing of his lips, a source reveals.

Michael Jackson is reportedly getting $10 million to show up at a birthday party — and he doesn’t have to sing. The King of Pop will earn the appearance money just for mingling with other guests at Prince Azim of Brunei’s 25th birthday party in England this weekend. “Absolutely no expense is being spared for [the prince’s] party,” a source told the Daily Mirror. “Michael Jackson is his all-time idol and he said he’d pay whatever it took to get him over.”

Janet Jackson recently admitted she was shocked by the modern technological advances she saw when she walked into a supermarket. Janet, 40, relates a story when she was hanging with rapper Missy Elliott one night when the two had the munchies.

"It's so funny because I haven't set foot in a grocery store in years, you know. And that's so embarrassing," Janet revealed.

Pop star Michael Jackson is preparing for a return to showbiz with a series of comeback gigs in Las Vegas.

The Thriller star is in talks with Vegas concert promoters in a bid to relaunch his career and end his exile from the US. Vegas entertainer Jeff Beacher confirmed to Us Weekly that Jacko was in town: "He wants to make his comeback here. Jackson wants this to be his new Neverland."

Michael Jackson appeared at a star-studded World Music Awards in London last night, but only managed to join a group of kids onstage for a few minutes and, in a cracking voice, sang a couple of lines from "We Are The World". Even with the short performance he forgot the words.

Jackson was at the event to collect a Diamond Award for selling more than 100 million albums. But what was billed as a spectacular comeback for the world's biggest star fell flat and the King of Pop was booed off the stage. His big song "Thriller" was performed by Chris Brown.

Debbie Rowe Gets Her Money and Goes Away

So much for the custody battle. For the second time in five years, ex-wife Debbie Rowe has given up visitation rights to see her two kids, in exchange for having her alimony payments reinstated by Michael Jackson. So it was all about the money after all.

She's already gotten a mansion and millions of dollars but a source says she's broke and needs that $1 million a year payment to survive.

Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe claims the singer owes her a fortune and that she desperately needs money now because she "sits on the brink of bankruptcy." In the legal papers recently filed, Rowe claims she needs $50,000 a month from Jacko for living expenses, plus another $195,000 in legal fees so she can fight the singer for custody of the couple's two kids.
