Miley is Stuck as Hannah For A While Longer

Even though she outgrew the character a year ago, Miley Cyrus is under contract to ready and willing to continue playing “Hannah Montana” on the hit Disney show for a bit longer, cuz, like, it's really so much fun.

The 15-year-old star gave an interview to Extra and says she's got a full season to complete, “We've got too many episodes to finish.”

Rumor has it that Miley Cyrus is trying to get fired from her hit show Hannah Montana because she's so over it and there's more money in touring and singing anyway. And papa Billy Ray Cyrus has also made that point to a number of people.

TMZ is reporting that the father-daughter duo is deliberately trying to piss off the Mouse House - by showing up to the set ridiculously late, stalling production and infuriating cast and crew.

It goes to show that you can't believe everything you read on the Internet. Case in point was the hoax that was launched last Friday that teen superstar Miley Cyrus was killed in a car accident on her way to the set of a Hannah Montana movie.

Not true, yet many in the mainstream media fell for it - including the clowns at Yahoo and Digg and often inaccurate Wikipedia which allowed the stories and updates to be posted without any check on sources.

Miley Cyrus is saying she is like Super Sorry! for making fun of fellow Mouse House stars Demi Lovatos and Selena Gomez after an old YouTube video got a lot of buzz last week. The vid shows Miley and pal Mandy Jiroux like "imitating" the other Disney teen celebrities.

“If we offended them we’re super-sorry,” the peace sign flashing lil chipmunk told Popstar! Magazine. “We were like, just having fun.”

Disney star Miley Cyrus, 15, tells ET she's "embarrassed" about the topless picture of her showing her naked back with a sheet wrapped around herself in the new Vanity Fair issue.

"I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed," she says. "I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about."
