Michelle Williams has issued a statement on the death of her ex-fiancé Heath Ledger, saying: "My heart is broken."
Williams, who has a two-year-old daughter - Matilda Rose - from her relationship with the actor, urged in her short statement: "Please respect our need to grieve privately."
Ledger and Williams met on the set of their ‘Brokeback Mountain’ movie, in which they played a husband and wife.
