According to the latest reports from Us Weekly, singers Usher and Shakira are going to replace Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera on The Voice show during its next season.
Sources say the two stars are set to take over from Aguilera and Green, who — alongside fellow mentors Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — have each coached teams on the show for the past two seasons.
Earlier this month, Aguilera talked to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show about her involvement on the singing competition, revealing that she once viewed her job as a coach on The Voice “kind of like a side project.”
Sources also say that after leaving the show, Aguilera will focus more on her tours and promotional duties surrounding the release of her new album, Lotus, while Green will be working with NBC on a new show of his own. As for Shelton and Levine, they are both set to return for Season 4.
