When it’s about a movie role, an actress can do so much! Hollywood beauty Anne Hathaway – who is well known for her luscious locks – agreed to have her hair hacked off for her new movie role.
In a harrowing scene from the new Les Miserables movie, Anne – who plays prostitute Fantine who sells her hair and teeth to make cash – has her hair brutally cut off. The directors wanted the scene to be as real as possible so they instructed her co-stars to be aggressive when cutting her locks.
“Anne knew she was going to lose her hair, it’s part of the storyline,” an insider said. “But it was still disturbing seeing it being hacked off. Thankfully she only had to film the scene once.”
