According to several reports from TMZ, Whitney Houston‘s tragic death in the bath of her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday was due to combining prescription drugs and alcohol.
Los Angeles County Coroner officials have completed an autopsy on the 48-year-old singer and according to them, she did not drown. They revealed that they did not find enough water in Whitney’s lungs to assume this would have been the cause of her death. However, they believe she took a combination of alcohol, Xanax and other prescription drugs and this led to her tragic death.
But sources say that Whitney’s cause of death will not be officially revealed until the police will complete their investigations.
