According to the latest reports, Canadian rock star Avril Lavigne and her boyfriend of almost two years, Brody Jenner, have decided to call time on their relationship.
The singer and the reality TV star apparently broke up because they couldn’t agree on their future. “They decided to end their relationship. It wasn’t working out, and they wanted to go their separate ways,” an insider said.
According to sources, the singer wanted to settle down and start a family, but apparently her boyfriend wasn’t ready for that. “They had been having problems starting in the summer with her tour because she was on the road all the time. It put a strain on their relationship,” added the insider.
Avril Lavigne was previously married to Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley, and although their marriage didn’t work out, she recently admitted she would marry again because she wants to start a family.
“It’s all about love and I make that my number one priority,” she confessed. “One day I would hope to have kids and do that whole thing. Right now I’m very focused on my career, my album, my tour and naturally when that happens for me next, yeah I’ll go for it.”
