Nicole Richie to Replace Sarah Jessica Parker as the New Face of Halston

nicole.jpgAccording to reports, Nicole Richie is going to replace Sarah Jessica Parker as the new ambassador for Halston.

The upmarket fashion label — which dropped the Sex and the City star this summer — thinks the reality TV star will be a good change for the fashion house image and will hopefully turn their earnings around.

“They wanted someone with Nicole’s fashion credentials,” an insider said. “She is the perfect ambassador for Halston and even wore one of their gowns to the launch of her own fashion brand last week. She’d love to produce a capsule collection with them.”
