According to TMZ, 19-year-old star Selena Gomez is reportedly in “extreme fear” because of a death threat she received. The actress/singer has obtained a restraining order against 46 year old Thomas Brodnicki — who has a criminal history of stalking — after he allegedly revealed to a therapist that God had ordered him to kill her.
According to declarations made in court documents from Selena and her lawyer, the man also claimed he had traveled from Chicago to Los Angeles to meet her and “visited her workplace at least three times.”
The Los Angeles Police Department is said to be treating the case “extremely seriously” because of Thomas’ history of stalking, and the revelation came about during a mental evaluation after he threatened to “scratch people’s eyes out on the street”.
