According to reports, Kim Kardashian — who is set to marry basketball player Kris Humphries on Saturday — made it known to her guests that she wants them to wear black or white for her big day.
The reality TV star will wear a Vera Wang gown for her wedding, but she doesn’t intend to be a typical bride and “blend in” with friends and family at the ceremony. She would rather wear a powerful color to distinguish herself among everyone else.
“Kim knows better than anyone how to stay dramatic and there is no way she would let herself blend in with everyone else at her wedding by wearing a white dress,” a pal said. “If I know her, I bet she will wear red or some color so she pops against everyone else who will be in black or white.”
The sexy brunette has also ordered “thousands” of South African roses to decorate the venue, which is thought to be near the Four Seasons resort in Montecito, California. “Kim and Kris are getting married at an estate near the Four Seasons [in Montecito],” a source said. “Guests will be taken from the Four Seasons to the estate on Saturday in shuttle buses, with the windows blacked out. The theme and the decorations will be silver, white and black, and there will be hundreds of white roses from South Africa.”
