According to reports, Robert Pattinson is sick of his heartthrob image and would like to explore some other types of characters, unlikable and villainous ones such as serial killers.
“Robert is excited about moving on to other more diverse roles after Twilight and playing a villain is very appealing to him,” revealed a pal close to the actor. “One character he is fascinated with would see him playing a serial killer while there are others for villainous characters in major Hollywood blockbusters as well as an indy movie. Robert wants to show he has range to his acting and doesn’t want to be typecast as the hero or heartthrob.”
Some recent rumours also claimed that Robert and his girlfriend and Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart have been arguing over the actor’s wild partying habits.
“Rob’s been partying hard,” said an insider. “He’s been out almost every night at concerts and dinners with pals – and this is hot on the heels of him going out clubbing with Sienna Miller in London a few weeks ago. Kristen’s upset about his partying and ended up having a tearful showdown with him over the phone, saying he’s acting as if he finds life boring with her. She’s feeling insecure because she’s back home looking after their dog Bear and hasn’t seen him for weeks. But Rob thinks she’s blowing it all out of proportion.”
