Wyclef Jean Was Shot in Haiti

wyclef-jean.jpgFormer Fugees frontman Wyclef Jean has reportedly been shot in his native Haiti on the eve of presidential elections on the Caribbean island!!

According to Britain’s Daily Mail, the singer received a gunshot wound in the hand a little after 11pm in the city of Delmas, just outside the capital Port-au-Prince. He was immediately rushed to hospital for treatment.

Further details regarding the shooting haven’t been made public yet, but Jean – who lives in the U.S. – is a high-profile supporter of presidential candidate and fellow musician Michel Martelly.
