According to a new report, singer Beyonce Knowles — who’s married to rapper Jay-Z since 2008 – is pregnant with her first child!
The star was reportedly in shock when she discovered she was expecting, but now she’s thrilled with the news.
“B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn’t ready to be a mother just yet,” an insider told Us Weekly magazine. “She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again. She now knows this is a gift from God and she’s so happy.”
Friends of the couple have already expressed their delight at the news, and said the pair will make wonderful parents.
“Jay has been all about family since I met him, and he’s always going to be. I wish them the best,” said Record executive Kevin Liles.
“She’s got the most beautiful heart. She’ll be a great mom,” said Beyonce’s sister Solange.
