Alicia Keys Gave Birth to a Baby Boy

alicia-keys.jpgAccording to Us Weekly magazine, singer Alicia Keys, who’s married to rapper Swizz Beatz, gave birth to a baby boy named Egypt Daoud Dean on Thursday night in New York; her rep confirmed the big news on Friday.

And the father is really excited: “I’m so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwwww!” Swizz, real name Kasseem Dean, wrote on his Twitter page.

The 29-year-old singer and Beatz, 32, — who have been together since fall 2008 — got married in a private ceremony in July on the Mediterranean Sea. They announced their engagement and baby news in May.

Alicia said she was eager to meet her little one. “The baby is going to see everything that I do, and that we do,” she gushed.
