Music mogul Simon Cowell declared he feels like his life has got even better since turning 50. After getting engaged to girlfriend Mezghan Hussainy earlier this year, Simon confessed he is now happier in his personal life. He also intends to improve his career even further planning his talent show The X Factor to launch on US television.
“Has this been my happiest year? Yes it has,” he said. “When you hit 50, you realize what you want to do with your life. Do you slow down or carry on? I’ve made the decision to carry on. I’m having a good time. I like the fact people are still interested in our shows. They are great fun to work on. It’s the best feeling in the world.”
And although Simon enjoys his career, he is taking more time to relax and enjoy his private life. “Being with my friends makes me relax,” he said. “I’m taking more holidays than I used to. But it’s my choice whether I work hard and I still like my work and I do work hard.”
