According to recent reports, pop star Rihanna will release her new record later this year. Although an exact release date for the album has not been confirmed yet, we know the record, called Loud, will hit shelves in November.
The first single from the album, Only Girl (In the World), will premiere online Wednesday. “I didn’t want to go backward and remake Good Girl Gone Bad,” Rihanna said of her 2008 album. “I wanted the next step in the evolution of Rihanna. I’m gonna miss the [2009 album] Rated R era too, but NOTHING compares to the album I just made.”
