After we heard recent rumors that Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick rekindled his relationship with former flame Jessica Szohr, Britain’s Closer magazine says the actor is single!
According to this magazine, Westwick declared he doesn’t have a girlfriend, admitting it’s a bit difficult to date because he’s famous. “I’m single!” he said when asked about his love life. “My English accent drives American girls crazy but I haven’t got time for romance. I’ve always been in love with Rachel Weisz, but sadly she’s taken.”
Ed said there’s “added stress” to having a relationship when you’re an actor because “sometimes you can’t deal with things privately – which is how they should be dealt with. It can be pretty hurtful, especially for people who aren’t as tough as they should be. People who don’t have their wall up.”
