Salt star Angelina Jolie seems quite interested lately in playing Egyptian queen Cleopatra on the big screen. After she was recently rumored to be in talks to portray Marylin Monroe in a biopic, the actress insisted she’d be thrilled to take on the role of Cleopatra, provided the story is “right”.
“I think if we can get the story right – the real story – it could be interesting,” said Angelina on the idea. “There’s a lot about her that has not been covered yet. So if we can do something original, we will.”
Recent reports also claimed that the mother of six kids is planning to release her memoirs. “It could be the biggest book in years if she really is ready to tell all,” said one publishing insider.
