It seems actress Drew Barrymore has a new hobby and that is boxing! The Whip It star has recently tried her hand in the ring in an endeavor to get fit and she found that she really enjoyed it.
“I went to a boxing class because I needed the exercise but I’m not athletic and really uncoordinated and lame,” says Drew. “But I found it so much fun. I had never boxed before but I was beating the crap out of the bag. I was so into it.”
Drew, who became a top name after starring in Steven Spielberg’s E.T., recently confessed that despite finding fame and success at a young age, she has had “normal jobs”.
“I’ve been acting since I was 11-months old but I have had normal jobs too,” she said. “I worked at a coffee house and I was terrible. And I mean, really terrible. My boss just hated me. I could see the resentment in his eyes every day. I was 14. I also worked at a Music Plus (store). I rocked at that job because I love movies and so anyone would come in and have just a vague idea of anything and I was like ‘I got it! I’m on it!’ I loved that job.”
