Actress Jessica Szohr confessed it was really “challenging” for her to film new romantic comedy Love, Wedding, Marriage. The Gossip Girl star appears alongside Kellan Lutz and Mandy Moore in the upcoming flick and admitted she had a tough time moving away from her TV roots.
“That was really challenging for me, because I’ve never done a romantic comedy before,” she said. Kellan and I have known each other — young Hollywood is very small, so a lot of the time, you have met or have been friends with people before you work with them. It was cool to work with him, as he plays my brother-in-law, and Mandy is my sister.”
“I would love to do more films — working on films is really fun and interesting. We’ve all been doing films when we have time off. It’s cool you can break down this character and be done with it in a couple of months, and you can move on. Whereas in a TV show, you’re creating the characters as the show goes on, because you don’t know what’s going to happen.”
