Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria revealed that she has always believed she was adopted, because she was the “dark, ugly one” in her family, quite the opposite of her three sisters. She also admits she was bullied by her siblings because she was the only one with dark hair and brown eyes.
“I was one of four girls, and my three older sisters all look alike,” Eva said. “They all have light skin, light eyes and light hair. I was the only one with black hair, dark eyes and dark skin."
“I thought I was adopted forever. I still think I am. My mom laughs about that. She says, ‘Your dad is so cheap. Do you really think he took a fourth child on?’”
“I grew up as a ‘prieta fea’, which means ‘dark, ugly one’. I did not blossom until college.”
