Breaking Dawn, the fourth installment in the Twilight movie franchise, will be released in two parts, Summit Entertainment confirmed Thursday. The first Dawn will hit movie theaters Nov. 18, 2011, and the second is due for release the following year.
Bill Condon will direct both films, with cast including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and others set to return.
Pattinson, who plays vampire Edward Cullen, recently admitted he’d like the films to get a little more hardcore. “I think it will be interesting… I’m curious to see what it’ll look like,” the actor said.
Eclipse, the third film in the Twilight movie series, hits theaters June 30.
