Hollywood hunk Chace Crawford thinks it’s actually quite “refreshing” to date a girl who is not an actress. The Gossip Girl star says he’d rather be in a relationship with someone who isn’t in the same industry as himself.
“My friends think that dating within the industry is better because you’re on the same level,” said the actor, who has previously dated country music star Carrie Underwood.
“You understand more. At the same time it can get a bit sticky because schedules can get tight. There are pros and cons to everything, but I think it can be a little more refreshing to date someone who isn’t in the profession. When I’m into a girl, I’d like to think I’m a good boyfriend. I’m not really into the cheesy stuff. I like the personal little things. I get creative, it’s got to be tailored to the girl though.”
