According to Hollywood insiders, actress Vanessa Hudgens, whose boyfriend Zac Efron recently revealed he’d like to take on the role of Spider-Man, is in talks to play Spider-Woman. She is said to be among the favorites to play this character in another Hollywood comic-book reworking.
“The idea is for this to be a fun, comedic movie and Vanessa is perfect for the title role,” a source said. “Spider-Woman is strong and sexy but in this case hilarious. [And] Vanessa is apparently very interested in the idea.”
