45-year-old actress Sandra Bullock looks like she’s taking steps to get her life back on track. Just after announcing she’s divorcing her cheating husband Jesse James, we have another piece of news: the Oscar-winning star has adopted a baby! The child’s name is Louis, he’s 3½-months-old and was born in New Orleans.
According to People magazine, Bullock and James began the adoption process four years ago and brought Louis home in January, but decided to keep the news to themselves until after the Oscars. The couple’s close friends and family were essential in keeping the adoption a secret.
Bullock says she is now adopting as a single parent.
