According to reports, actor Johnny Depp has been lined up to play Ozzy Osbourne in a movie about the rocker’s life. The former Black Sabbath star is apparently keen for the Pirates of the Caribbean actor to portray his colorful life story.
“Ozzy loves Johnny’s films and would ideally have him play the lead role in the Ozzy movie,” says a source close to the singer and reality TV star. “He’s been told that Johnny may be aiming a little too high, but Ozzy is sure he would want the role.”
The 61-year-old rocker has previously revealed his desire to have Johnny portray him on the big screen. “What’s left to wish for?” he said last year. “A number one album would be good. And to have a movie made of the book, maybe with Johnny Depp playing me — I’d like that.”
