Michael Buble declared he refuses to drink alcohol while he’s on tour because he needs to be “sharp” while he’s onstage. The Home singer insists he stays sober during his time on the road to make sure his fans receive the best performance as possible.
“I can’t party on tour any more,” he said. “I think it’s part of getting older — you know your limits. I stay sober as I want to put on the best show. It’s bigger now, so I need to be sharp.”
The 34-year-old singer has recently revealed that he refuses to wear jeans while he is performing onstage. “I wear a suit on stage,” he said. “I think it is disrespectful not to — especially when people have paid good money to see you. Also I sing songs about love. Frank Sinatra sang about love and he wore a suit. It’s just a matter of respect.”
