British actor Jude Law, who starred as Watson in Sherlock Holmes, has signed up to play the role of a blogger in Steven Soderbergh’s new thriller, Contagion.
“I play a kind of unbridled blogger who’s a sort of scaremonger,” said Law. “They’re saving it ’til the end of the year because I got a lot of method, a lot of deep character work I got to do to get there.”
The movie, which is about a disease outbreak involving the Center for Disease Control, will also star Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Marion Cotillard, and Kate Winslet.
