Heroes star Hayden Panettiere admits she has drunk alcohol for as long as she can remember. Actually, the 20-year-old actress says she’s been drinking wine with her meals since the age of eight.
“I was raised Italian and we always had diluted glasses of red wine at dinner time from about the age of 8,” Hayden told Britain’s Now! magazine. “That’s just what kids do in Italy. It wasn’t ever something bad.”
However, the actress insists she hasn’t developed a drink problem. ‘I have the occasional drink — of course I do,” she said. “I don’t drink a lot, just a glass of wine or champagne every now or then.”
Now, that’s a relief…
