Back to Black singer Amy Winehouse has spent a “stupid amount” of money on shoes, her dad has revealed. Mitch Winehouse said the troubled star paid almost $20,000 on footwear during one shopping spree.
“Amy has blown stupid amounts on shoes — she’s replaced her drug addiction with a shopping addiction,” said Mitch, 58. “She bought 20 pairs of Jimmy Choo designer shoes in one afternoon. I returned them all to Selfridges.”
“She’d never wear them, she has two rooms full of unopened, unworn shoes — it’s ridiculous, such a waste.”
