Although, according to her own sayings, she never liked having to conform rules, Lady GaGa, who attended a Catholic school, was a straight-A student.
“I was always very different and trying to not fit in too much,” she said. “I just didn’t want to be like anyone else and I was obsessed with Judy Garland and Led Zeppelin.
“I got really good grades — I was like a straight-A student — but I was really bad."
“I was very naughty, wore awful things to school. I used to roll my skirt up really high so the nuns didn’t know what to do with me.”
GaGa then opened up about being banned from the best new artist category at the Grammy Awards.
“It’s fine,” she insisted. “I wouldn’t be screwing anyone over there to have them fake the awards.
“I’ve been nominated in the past, so technically — due to songwriting and things — I’m not a new artist.
“But it’s okay. The biggest reward for me has been my fans. I truthfully don’t rely on that outside validation.”
