British supermodel Naomi Campbell is being sued by Moodform Mission, a fragrance marketing company, for violating a 1998 contract.
Apparently, the reason is that Naomi Campbell stopped in 2008 paying Moodform Mission its share of proceeds from scents it helped develop, which include Naomi Campbell, Cat Deluxe and Seductive Elixir.
The model "has made millions of dollars from the sale of fragrances and cosmetics products conceptualized, created, developed and marketed with the assistance of" Moodform Mission, said the lawsuit.
Moodform declared that Campbell sent regular payments, according to contract, to the company from 2001 to 2008, but the payments abruptly stopped and Campbell has ignored any communications from the company since then.
Campbell denied, through her spokesman, all the accusations.
“She is confident that the judge and the jury in this case will fully vindicate her.”
