Singer and actress Jennifer Hudson gave birth to her first child on Monday, her publicist confirmed. He is named after her fiancé of almost a year, actor David Otunga. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces.
"The baby is beautiful and perfect," said Hudson's publicist Lisa Kasteler. "His parents are ecstatic."

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff announced that he has approved a deal between Michael Jackson's estate, concert promoter AEG Live and Columbia Pictures for a movie.
