Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have split, a rep for the reality star confirmed to the media.
Kim, 28, began dating Bush, 24, the running back for the New Orleans Saints, in April 2007. According to a source close to the former couple, the split was a "mutual decision."
"Nobody cheated. T.i. was just a case of conflicting schedules and their lives going in different directions."
She recently discussed the difficulties of having a long-distance relationship on her E! reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Last November, Kim said she and Bush were "dedicated" and tried to see each other often. She said, "When you're committed to something and really want something, you make it work."
In June of this year, she denied rumors of an engagement, as falsely reported by tabloid Star. "I am not engaged!" she wrote on her Web site. "The rumors about me picking out my ring already are also not true! I don't know where all this comes from!!"
When asked about marriage, Kardashian told Us last December: "We are totally happy, and we have a great relationship, and it's definitely where things are heading. But hopefully it will be a surprise!"
