Over the weekend, Cameron Diaz confirmed she is set to star in the Green Hornet alongside Seth Rogen.
Earlier this month, rumours surfaced that Cameron was simply in talks to for the film, but at Comic-Con, where she was promoting her new sci-fi thriller film The Box, alongside James Marsden, the actress admitted she will play as one of the film's female characters. "It's just a small part," she added.
Though her role may be small, the actress said she is thrilled to join the potential superhero franchise. "I'm very excited about it - very excited."
As previously reported on the media, Nicolas Cage is still in talks to play the villain in the big screen super hero film.
