According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Russell Crowe is in talks for the lead role in Paul Haggis' The Next Three Days, the writer/director's follow-up to 2007's In the Valley of Elah.

In the new film, a remake of the French thriller Pour Elle, Russell will reportedly star as a husband who must help his wife after she's thrown in jail for a murder she claims innocence over.

Jude Law Will Be a Father for the Fourth Time

Oscar-nominated actor Jude Law will become a father for the fourth time this fall, his representative said on Wednesday, but the mother's identity has not been revealed.

His publicist said that "following a relationship last year, the actor has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year," adding that "Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned, but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life. T.i. is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made."
