Aspiring singer Susan Boyle, who achieved fame through her Britain's Got Talent performance, is reported to have been lined up to appear as herself in the popular US comedy, according to The Sun. The UK tabloid reported that the talent show runner-up, 48, was contacted by the show’s producers last month to "play herself.
“Susan has been bombarded with offers of work in America, but this is something she is really keen on and we hope to make happen,” said a source. “She will definitely play herself.”
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the star would neither confirm nor deny the reports. She simply stated, "Susan has many offers on the table. At the moment she is looking forward to recording her album."
Victoria Beckham and Naomi Campbell have filmed cameos on the comedy, which stars America Ferrera as an awkward magazine assistant.
