Disney star Selena Gomez has strongly denied that she is dating Twilight star Taylor Lautner, insisting she's sworn off dating other stars.
"He's one of my good friends," Gomez told Extra at the 20th Annual A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. "I'm single," she went on. "Definitely single."
The teenagers sparked rumours they were dating almost two months ago when they were spotted laughing and playing around together in Vancouver, Canada. But Gomez now insists her brief fling with Nick Jonas has put her off relationships with male stars.
She says, "I used to say that I wanted someone cute and nice, and an actor too. But now I think it would be good for me to date someone who's not in the business."
16-year-old Selena Gomez was discovered by Disney and shot to fame playing Alex Russo in the Disney Channels' Wizards of Waverly Place, while Taylor Lautner came to audience’s attention at the end of last year when he landed the role of Jacob Black in the big screen adaptation of Twilight.
