Are Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson engaged?
The actress and her DJ best friend have sparked further rumours that they are lovers after the latter gave her friend a commitment ring. According to contactmusic.com, Ronson recently bought a Cartier diamond ring worth $22,000 for the Mean Girls actress’ 22nd birthday.
The pair, who dated for about two years, caught a flight to L.A. together at London's Heathrow Airport Monday. Lohan was cryptic on her Twitter page. "Leaving London but with my favorite favorite!!!-travel buddy & great news to share!! Maybe," she wrote.
"Sam took Lindsay shopping to celebrate her 22nd birthday. Although Lindsay is the major breadwinner, Sam has her own money and is very proud. It's not an engagement ring - simply a token of her commitment. Lindsay is thrilled and she and Sam are very content," said a source.
Lohan and Ronson have been friends for a long time but rumours that they might be romantically involved started swirling when they were spotted kissing and cuddling at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
