Socialite Paris Hilton has slammed reports claiming that she got kicked out from David Furnish's yacht at Cannes for getting too intimate with boyfriend Doug Reinhardt. She took to her MySpace blog, saying that those who spread the news "have no credibility".
"That story some tabloid ran about my boyfriend and I on a yacht is such a lie that it's a joke!" Paris wrote. Then she continued: "That was my good friend's boat and first of all she would never ask me to leave and second of all I would never do that. It's so lame that people will just create these crazy stories. I can't believe the stories people will make up, so gross! I'm so sick of all these false rumors, it's not fair that writers can get away with it. They have no credibility."
British daily newspaper Mirror had earlier carried a report about the incident saying that Elton John's husband, David Furnish, invited Paris and Doug for a party after 2009 Cannes Film Festival. "Everyone kept saying how inappropriate they were being but Paris didn't care who was looking. They got so worked up she dragged Doug below deck so they could have some private time," the newspaper had said. "David spotted them and the captain was furious. He kicked them off for unsociable behavior," the newspaper added.
