Olivia Wilde Beats Megan Fox on Maxim’s 2009 Hot 100 List

25-year-old House star Olivia Wilde claimed the top spot on Maxim's 2009 Hot 100 List, revealed Wednesday by the magazine. "We may not know a McDreamy from a McNugget, but when it comes to TV doctors, there is only one who makes our body temperature rise," the mag says of Wilde.

In claiming this year's title, Wilde managed to outdistance Transformers beauty Megan Fox, who finished second. "Seriously, do women get more painfully hot than this?" the mag raves. "Megan Fox has the face of an angel, a body so perfect that God may have carved it out of soap while in the shower, and sex appeal that could melt a unicorn's horn."

"Gossip Girl" Taylor Momsen to Release Debut Album

According to Access Hollywood, Interscope Records signed 15 year-old singer-songwriter Taylor Momsen, star of the CW’s teen popular television series Gossip Girl. Momsen and her rock band, The Pretty Reckless, are scheduled to release their full length debut album this fall.

Katie Holmes will show off her dark side. According to Variety, the 30-year-old actress has signed on to star in Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, a fright flick for Miramax Films.

The adrenaline-pumping flick is based on a TV movie that aired on ABC back in 1973 – notable for being one of the only two terrifying TV movies ever made; the other is The Dark Night of the Scarecrow – and centers on a young girl who moves in with her dad and his girlfriend, only to discover that the house is haunted by demonic creatures.

According to Access Hollywood, six-year-old Jasmina Anema, the young Leukemia patient at the heart of DKMS Americas' "One for Jasmina" campaign, has found not one, but two possible bone marrow donors since Rihanna and Kelly Rowland visited her in the hospital and helped publicize the need to register bone marrow donors. With their help, Jasmina now has two possible matches for a transplant, which she desperately needs to fight the disease.

Everyone knows this classic novella and even if you’ve never read it, you know the story purely from the way the names have become shorthand for a split personality. Reeves is set to star as the lead character – the doctor who scientifically develops an evil self – in Universal's modern retelling of the story, titled Jekyll.
