The Los Angeles District Attorney's office is expected to subpoena Rihanna, and she will have to appear at Chris Brown's June 22 preliminary hearing on felony charges, her lawyer told Access Hollywood.
Also on Thursday, LA Superior Court Judge Patricia Shnegg denied two motions filed by Brown's attorney Mark Geragos, who had asked for LAPD records pertaining to the leak of a photo of a bruised Rihanna taken after Brown allegedly assaulted her on February 8. The judge also ruled that the leaked photo did not invalidate charges against Brown.
Brown issued a YouTube video this Wednesday proclaiming he "ain't a monster" and announcing the release of a forthcoming album, Graffiti.
