Looks like John Mayer is completely over his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston. Their relationship officially ended last month following months of speculation about the state of their love affair. And the 31-year-old rocker is now rumoured to be dating Scheana Marie Jancan, a 23-year-old aspiring actress and model who works as a part-time cocktail waitress.
The pair haven't made a public appearance yet, but the word is that they've been spending a lot of time together. "They’ve spent time together over the past few months," a source tells People. "They're enjoying getting to know each other."
Reports say John and Scheana met in 2008 at the Beverly Hills cigar club Grand Havana Room, where she currently works as a bartender and cocktail waitress. According to Star Magazine, John started flirting with her and ended up asking her out.
“Scheana was shocked and thrilled when John asked her out. She has always thought he was hot, and she said yes right away, writing down her cell phone number on a napkin,” reports quoted a source as saying.
Marie admits knowing Mayer, but has refused to comment on rumours they are a couple, saying, "We're friends. He's a great guy. He's funny and sweet."
A runner-up in a Hawaiian Tropic Pageant, she has appeared in ads for Pioneer, Doritos, Nissan and Toyota. She graduated in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Azusa Pacific University. She is also an aspiring actress, recently landing a small part in the Jonas Brothers upcoming TV show, Jonas, which debuts May 2nd on The Disney Channel.
Meanwhile, Mayer has been holed up in his home studio in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley working on his next album titled Battle Studies.
