Buffy is going to be a mom!
Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar is reportedly pregnant. A source close to her has confirmed to People that Buffy the Vampire Slayer star and her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., are expecting their first child. "They're very excited," said the source, adding that Gellar is due to deliver their baby this fall.
News of the actress' pregnancy comes just days after her former Buffy co-star Alyson Hannigan welcomed her first child, Satyana.
Gellar and actor Freddie Prinze Jr. have been married for six years. They met for the first time on the set of the 1997 teen horror flick I Know What You Did Last Summer. However, they did not date until 2000. After a year of dating, they got engaged and then married in a lavish ceremony in Mexico on September 1, 2002.
Meanwhile, both expectant parents are currently busy with work. Gellar will be seen in theatres playing a suicidal woman in her mid-twenties in the film Veronika Decides To Die, set for release in the U.S. in November. And Freddie will star in ABC's new comedy TV series No Heroics.
