As if she were not crazy enough, being single, unemployed, raising 14 kids, all under the age of 8, and using public assistance to afford her eight nannies, Nadya Suleman wants to add “something” else to her already huge family – a pet. And guess what? She wants a PIG as their pet!
"For a couple of years, the kids have been asking for a dog," the Octo-mom told the San Gabriel Valley News. "I've actually been looking into a pig, like a little one."
But honestly, adopting a pet, which means taking on another mouth to feed, whether it be animal or human, when your house already looks like a day care, doesn’t seem like a prudent decision at this time for the Suleman family.
When you’re supporting your family using food stamps, disability payments and student loans and you’re using welfare money for diapers, you really don’t need to spend extra cash on pet care. Because pets are expensive and they also imply undertaking responsibility, which is something this woman seems to lack.
Moreover, Suleman said if she were to buy a pig, it would wear a diaper and live primarily outside the family's $564,000 La Habra, Calif. home because of its smell.
Now, do you think American taxpaying people would be really happy to know that their money is going to be used on pig diapers? I doubt it. This woman needs a serious check.
