Police Will Return Jewelry Worn by Rihanna

According to Rihanna's lawyer, Los Angeles police have agreed to return the $1.4 million worth of jewelry that the pop star was wearing the night her R&B singer boyfriend Chris Brown is accused of assaulting her.

The earring and three rings that Rihanna was wearing were on loan to the Umbrella singer, who had attended a pre-Grammy party with Brown hours before the February 8 incident. They were taken by police as evidence in the case.

Mia Farrow Plans 21-Day Hunger Strike against Darfur Genocide

On Monday, actress Mia Farrow began a three-week hunger strike in protest of the crisis in Darfur. Her protest comes after the Sudanese government expelled foreign aid agencies from the war-torn region in March. The 64-year-old actress, who is a goodwill ambassador for the UNICEF, will only drink water as part of a fast.

Jackie Chan Celebrates 100th Movie

Actor Jackie Chan has celebrated a milestone with the announcement of his 100th movie project — a collaboration with Rumble in the Bronx director Stanley Tong.

The 55-year-old Rush Hour star said on his Web site he will co-direct the film, tentatively called Chinese Zodiac, with Tong. Shooting will take place in China, Austria and France. The brief statement seen Wednesday did not give further details.

Soccer star David Beckham has recently teamed up with James Bond (not the fictional secret agent, but the owner of Undefeated - a designer chain of sneaker boutiques) on a new collection for Adidas Originals.

According to a release from Adidas, Beckham and Bond "were inspired by the mix of classic American sportswear and fabrics with fashionable silhouettes and details."

Restraining Order Issued in Britney Spears’ Case

On Tuesday, a judge ordered Britney Spears' former self-styled manager Sam Lutfi to stay away from the pop star for three years, after the singer's father accused Lutfi of trying to undermine the conservatorship Spears lives under.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aviva Bobb also issued the same order to attorney Jon Eardley, who has presented himself as Spears' lawyer.

Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn has filed for a legal separation from his wife Robin Wright Penn after an attempt to reconcile apparently failed.

According to court papers filed last week in Marin County, near San Francisco, Penn asked for the legal separation from his wife of 13 years on April 23 on grounds of irreconcilable differences.

According to Usmagazine.com, a rep for Twentieth Century Fox confirmed that the studio is postponing the X-Men Origins: Wolverine premiere, set for Wednesday in Mexico City, as the city deals with rapidly spreading swine flu.
